Smukavc und ocvirkovca

In addition to žlikrofi, there are two other traditional dishes you must try in Idrija. Smukavc is a stew made from cabbage, kale or chicory leaves, potatoes and garlic with added minced lard. Another speciality is ocvirkovca – a dish that looks like the famous Slovenian dessert potica, but contains cracklings, which is a real rarity.
