Tržič: Marija Ahačič Pollak with the Plamen Vocal Group and the Tržič Wind Orchestra, Concert

An unforgettable musical evening awaits in the newly renovated park surrounding Neuhaus Manor in Tržič. Taking the stage will be the women’s vocal ensemble Plamen, founded in Canada in 1991 by legendary Avsenik singer and Tržič native Marija Ahačič Pollak. Bringing together Canadian-born women of Slovenian heritage, the ensemble has spent decades preserving and celebrating its cultural roots through song. Returning to the hometown of their founder, the singers will join forces with the Tržič Wind Orchestra under the baton of Franci Podlipnik, creating a heartfelt and inspiring musical encounter that bridges generations, continents and traditions.
