Four-time Grammy nominee Mak Grgić, praised by The New York Times as an exceptional talent, joins forces with Mateusz Kowalski, one of the most distinguished guitarists of his generation, in the project Slavic Sessions. Through a captivating dialogue of two guitars, they blend Romantic traditions with contemporary musical expression, bringing the richness of Slavic heritage and mythology to life. Set within the enchanting atmosphere of Piran’s Minorite Monastery, the concert promises an intimate and immersive musical experience. Audiences will enjoy performances by two internationally acclaimed artists and educators, featuring works by Chopin, Bobrowicz, Tadić, Firšt, Dvořák and Pasieczny.
The concert forms part of the Piran Musical Evenings Festival.
