Nova gaz – Festival of Young Theatre Artists

Nova gaz is an annual celebration of emerging Slovenian theatre talent, organized by the Tone Čufar Theatre Jesenice. Dedicated to nurturing creativity and expression, the festival brings together passionate young performers between the ages of 16 and 26 who captivate audiences with a dynamic and diverse theatre programme. Now in its 5th edition, the 2025 festival features a vibrant competition lineup, including: Vsi smo fake (We Are All Fake) – Youth Theatre Group Šmarje–Sap, Nimam problema (I Have No Problem) – Young Stage of the Slovenian National Theatre (SNG), Mrtva nevest Musical (The Dead Bride) – Jesenice Gymnasium, 4.A grade, Eho Nihilus (Echo Nihilus) – VI2 Theatre Group, Tone Čufar Theatre, Jesenice, Martin Krpan – Loka Stage, Škofja Loka.
