En Big Band & Big band Šentjur in Šentjur: Ramna Jazz Festival
Michael Bublé, Frank Sinatra, Kurt Weiss and Duke Ellington are just a few of the famous artists whose melodies you will recognise in the adaptations by En Big Band from Koper. Almost a decade ago, professional and amateur musicians from Koper first joined forces to bring live big band music closer to the public, and quickly endeared themselves to audiences with their original interpretations of musical classics.
In Šentjur, they will perform with their “colleagues”, the Šentjur Big Band, and will add just the right dash of jazz, funk, pop and other popular music genres to the Ramna Jazz Festival in the picturesque atmosphere of Slivnica Lake. En Big Band is led by the great jazz trumpeter Sandi Štor.
